Culinary Rocker/Celebrity Chef JOHNNY CIAO did not get his start in the food industry like many of his fellow chef friends. After spending close to two decades in entertainment management and production where he always loved to cook for his celebrity clients, Johnny found a unique fusion between music and food. He began his culinary career as a result of his Italian upbringing, a strong passion for food. And after he successfully produced and marketed a book/video package titled 'Cooking with Country Music Stars, which featured 36 top country music stars' recipes, photos and bios. The book went on to sell over 750,000 copies.

Ciao acquired a solid reputation as an articulate culinary artist having cooked with and for such celebrities as Michael Jackson, the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, the late Marlon Brando and Gregory Peck, Whitney Houston, Hank Aaron, Mayor Ed Koch, and many other music, sports and political figures.
